Bake a Cake or Treat

Love a bake-off and especially the eating part, so why not give your family, friends, work colleagues, church, youth club, cadets or pub buddies a chance to share some delicious treats that you can make and share. Maybe even a few of you could join forces and make some splendid treats

Guess ‘How Many in the Jar’

Event Date: All year throughout 2022

Take part in “Guess how many is in the jar” by filling a jar from your home with sweats or marbles and getting members of the public or your work colleagues to guess how many is the jar. We suggest anyone who is willing to run this charity fundraising idea to give out a small prize for the person who gets the closest to the amount in jar for having the keenest eye. This will work best with charging a small price from a minimum of £1. any money that is raised to be given to our charity sponsor EAFA (England amputee football association)

Beat the Goalie

Event Date: All year throughout 2022

If you are a football fan/player and play 5 a-side, 6 a-side or even 11-man team. OSCAR would like to suggest a fundraising event of getting the members of the public or even members of others team to do take part in the “beat the goalie” fundraising event. Simply set the net up Charge a small fee of £1 and try and save as many goals as you can while trying to raise money and awareness for the EAFA.

Dress down Friday

Event Date: All year throughout 2022

Dress down Friday is a good way to get you and your work colleagues to raise money and awareness. Simply raise this idea at work and every Friday bring £1 in and where whatever you feel comfortable with. At the end of every month send your earnings into the EAFA.

Sponsored Swim

Event Date: All year throughout 2022

There’s plenty of people that take to water like a fish, and what an accessible thing that people can do at their local pool of all ages. Swim a length, 2 lengths, 4 lengths or whatever you can personally do, and ask people to sponsor you knowing it’s all for a great cause of the EAFA.

Sponsored Run, Jog or Walk

Event Date: All year throughout 2022

Whether you’re an avid runner or an east jogger, there’s usually loads of places and runs that could be used for this, a run around the park, a jog around the block, 4 lengths of the road top to bottom, or typically anything that is local to you and you can have easy access to what’s safe. Simply advertise what you are doing and why you are doing it, and give a couple of weeks to allow people to sponsor you. If Captain Tom can do it so, can you!

Cinema Time / Cinema Night

Event Date: All year throughout 2022

Get a favourite on the box and invite friends and family to come and watch and have some little nibbles or popcorn for sale while sponsoring the event. Weather permitting you could do a small outside event or even at college or school if you get your teachers to join in. start with a small entry price and any earnings send to the EAFA.

Create your own Charity Fundraising Event

Event Date: All year throughout 2022

Well, packing assistant to be real, but we have all seen helpful people stood at the checkouts in supermarkets helping us through that packing of bags with the weekly shop. Ask your local supermarket whether they’d allow you to participate in their store as a volunteer with a collection box. A few of you could share this job and do an hour each on a weekend when it’s usually the busiest times. Have a collection tin clearly visible to take donations for the EAFA and have it clearly marked so people know the reason you are helping pack and who the sponsorship monies are going to.

Sponsored Dog Walking Event

Everyone loves a pooch and with summer fast approaching, why not get you and your pooch involved in a sponsored dog walk activity, whether it’s a walk every day for a week or a long walk on a day, or a walk along something famous, what a great way to show off your pooch, get some exercise and raise money for the England Amputee Football Association
