ENGLAND AMPUTEE FOOTBALL ASSOCIATION

Our Managing Director has been helping support the EAFA Charity and Juniors over the last 24 months with Family Fun Day events; City Centre Charity Bucket Collections; direct sponsorship for football kits and respite events and lots of other things, helping spread the word that Amputee Football is here. Over the coming year we hope all our members will get involved to support the EAFA Seniors and Juniors and help Oscar Onsite raise vital funds to support the charity and spread the word and tremendous work all those involved do. The England Amputee Football Association’s aim is to provide all amputees, people with congenital limb deficiencies and persons with restricted use of limbs, with the opportunity to play football locally, nationally, and internationally. Whether you are a cancer survivor, ex or serving military, or limbless/limb impaired for any other reason, everyone is welcome to try this fantastic sport You don’t need crutches to play this game!

Where possible EAFA will engage with and direct new players, of any age, to a local club where they can access football at the level best suited to them. EAFA support, co-ordinate and help set up new Amputee Football clubs or “turn up & play” sessions across the country and ensure that these teams provide recreational football and have access to competitive football as part of our development strategy.

EAFA also supports the England Amputee National Squad, ensuring that the team can have access to training and receive funding support to participate in European & World events.

OUR MISSION AT THE EAFA

“To promote and develop the sport of Amputee Football and the development of persons interested in the sport primarily across England, but not excluding Wales. EAFA will provide any person with an amputation, congenital deficiency, or other limb affecting disorder the opportunity to access Amputee Football at grassroots, club, and national level. To maintain the charitable status of the organisation and provide funds to allow the above operations to function where required.”

COME AND SKYDIVE WITH US

FUNDRAISING EVENTS FOR
2022/2023 TANDEM SKYDIVING

In 2021 Oscar Onsite adopted the EAFA Charity and while supporting some other fundraising activities we also started the first Oscar Onsite Skydivers support the EAFA and we had 8 brave people join in and skydive which raised over £5000, and so the Skydives continue in 2022 with a reserved 50 places for the weekend of March 26th & 27th.

The costs for the skydive and all involved with the extremely professional Black Knights Parachute Centre total £200, so each Skydiver must commit to raise more than £400, £200 goes to the EAFA and £200 and over that you raise all goes to the EAFA, and to help support them in the WORLD CUP in 2022.
